Introducing our delicious all natural, healthy sausage and potato roast – gluten free. Made with just five slow-food ingredients. Simple and nutritious – we used Primal Cut’s “The Yorkshire” with it’s fresh pork and warming peppery taste to enhance this highly nutritious real-food dish. Enjoy!
Sausage and Potato Roast: Ingredients
- 500g of washed baby new potatoes
- 3 tbsp. Oliver Oil
- 700 – 800 g of Primal Cut “The Yorkshire” gluten free pork sausage
- 3 red onions, peeled, halved and sliced
- 3 red peppers. cored and seeds discarded
Arrange the baby potatoes in a roasting pan, pour over half the olive oil and season with salt and pepper
Stir to coat and roast in the oven at 180C for 20 minutes
Meanwhile brown the sausages in the frying pan with some oil
Separate onion wedges a bit and cut the pepper into strips
Combine with the potatoes on the roasting tin and place the sausages on the top
Roast in the oven for about an hour, shaking the pan at regular intervals
For something a little different, mix 100g of soured cream with 1 – 2 tsp. of horseradish, add some chopped parsley.
Serve a dollop of the sauce on the side.
